Since changing the SMA voting policy at midnight on December 17, 2019, an unusual voting activity has been detected in the SMA voting app.

Through the monitoring the voting history by award category, we have identified issue that creating new account and voting in a short time via abnormal methods.

The details are as follows :

– Time of occurrence : After 03:14 on December 17, 2019
– Awards Category : K-wave, Popular
– Artist : IZ*ONE
– Number of votes to delete : 753,708 votes on K-wave, 110,109 votes on Popular
– Time for deletion : December 19, 2019 between 00:00 and 00:30

※ During deletion, the related functions may not operate smoothly.
※ All other award categories confirmed that the voting was conducted normally.

The above issue is not normal voting, and all identified quantities as abnormal votes will be deleted and all accounts used for voting have been forced withdrawal.

The Seoul Music Awards are making every effort not to harm the fairness of the vote.

For maintaining a clean voting culture without compromising the meaning of the awards for the stars, please cooperate and participate in SMA.

　IZ*ONEをめぐっては、グループを生んだ韓国のオーディション番組『PRODUCE』シリーズの制作スタッフ2人が、視聴者投票を不正操作した詐欺などの疑いで逮捕されたことが発覚し、この余波で先月11日に予定されていた韓国でのショーケースライブや日韓同時放送が中止に。同15日から日本で2週間限定公開予定だった初のコンサートフィルムの公開も中止、メンバーの宮脇咲良のラジオも放送休止になるなど影響が広がっている。
